What to look for on a bar
Every bar carries the refiner's mark, its weight and its fineness, for example 999.9, which means at least 99.99% pure gold. Keep the bar in its original packaging and keep your invoice. Both matter when you sell it later.
How bars and coins are priced
A bar's price follows the day's gold price for its weight, plus a premium that depends on the brand and the size. Small bars and coins usually carry a higher premium per gram than large bars. We give you the full price in writing before you pay.
